Rolleston Dairy

My nana brought a house in rolleston 20 years ago When I was 4. The dairy has been around before they moved here. The couple that ran the dairy were John and heather they were lovely to all the local children and people that came in the door. John also did the local post on his bike. A few years ago John and heather didn’t want to renew the lease because they were struggling with the landlord to modernise the dairy. The sad thing was the landlord kicked them out completely revamped the dairy . John and heather struggled for years the dairy was cold and heather had health problems because of that. I wish that the landlord would have let them do up the dairy and keep working there because everyone in the community knows them as the lovely old couple that ran the dairy. For this reason I don’t go there because of my feeling towards the new owners.

Not the best dairy, it is a little cramped and untidy, there is a smoker smell to the air and the place was just a little bit unkempt.

Thankgod this shutdown over xmas and had reopened as a clean and fresh ON THE SPOT.
