If you haven't been involved or at least taken a walk through the area I would definitely recommend it. The Saint Clair estate and surrounding area is incredible. What a beautiful place to organise a sporting event. The course meanders its way through several wine producers vines and although mostly flat in nature has a couple of short inclines and declines as you navigate to and from the Wairau river. What a view as you run along the river! Lets not forget that the Saint Clair event helps raise awareness and funds for bowel cancer New Zealand as well. The wine is also fantastic which is an obvious bonus post run.A day that I will never forget. Give it ago if you haven't already, you won't regret it.
