Thai Siam Restaurant

We had the steamboat and pineapple rice; the steamboat was very flavoursome and warmed your soul on a cold day. The pineapple rice with chicken was very filling and tasty.

Pretty good restaurant, super busy on a saturday night. Managed to get a table. Ordered four items on the menu only to be served with 3 with the apologies of one of them lacking in stock, but that was fine. Tom Yum Soup was a bit too sour and missing a key ingredient which I think was the Galangal or Kaffir Lime Leaf.

The food is ok and seems authentic, had take-aways twice but it's not the best Thai food around and the prices reflect Queenstown more then the quality of the food.

Green curry prawn, Penang curry, pad thai, coconut rice, sizzling platter … we ordered those foods and Extremely happy. The service was fast and friendly. We had our meals served quickly and they were spot on. It also offers takeaway which I noticed a fair number ordered. There is a good selection of dishes.
