Can only comment on telecom's Retail products (poor quality)
I was travelling through Queenstown and needed a pair of earbuds. I bit the bullet and paid 20$ for what I thought would be ok earbuds. Well they sounded horrible, but as I was travelling I had ditched the packaging (but wisely kept the receipt).
Would they accept it as a return? "Not without the packaging"!
And now 3 months after purchasing them, the wires are crackly, and the ear buds are well on their way to hitting the rubbish bin. Worst quality ear buds I have ever owned.

Had a fantastic experience in store, have my new phone, my new plan and could not be happier. I also just pop in if I require any extra information. All just too easy!
