Roaring Megs Restaurant

We had a nice cold local red ale sitting in front of a warm fireplace on a very cool day in Queenstown. We could look out the open door with a view of the beautiful lake. Excellent service in an authentic Kiwi pub. Enjoyed the award winning lamb for dinner, excellent.

Lovely atmosphere and the food was beautiful. Tender, juicy and hit the spot! It says a lot that my teenager was satisfied after the meal. (Granted, after eating everyone's leftovers but he devoured the meal) Thanks guys, we'll be back.

Authentic older world fine dining atmosphere. Intimate and relaxed candle lit tables, attentive v. friendly service, classic NZ fare. Famous for its Lamb mains (totally recommend the confit of lamb - small portions of concentrated lamb roast flavours). Other NZ favourites - Bluff Oysters, Salmon, etc. Great wine list.

A lovely gourmet restaurant. Exceptional service, lovely food and they even have their own wine label! A wonderful restaurant for special occasions.

Highly recommend trying this place out. A good place to hang with friends. The food and drink selections were good. The prices were okay. The atmosphere was really nice and a chilled environment. Would recommend coming here to catch up with friends.
