Ivy & Lola's Kitchen and Bar

My mum and I stumbled on this place by chance, we were just strolling around and decided to sit and relax somewhere. We only came for a couple of drinks and some snacks but the staff there were very accommodating and friendly. Even open to having a little chat and giving is suggestions on what to do whilst we were in the city and what apps we could download to get discounted dinners out. We even stopped here again the night before we left! Good happy Hour prices too ??

Big breakfast is fantastic and the taste was on the money . Service is friendly and the spot is right by the waterfront. Great spot for some great food.worth to try.

We visited Ivy & Lola's on New Years Day 2014...what a beautiful setting! Nestled down on the waterfront of Lake Wakatipu surrounded by scenes of snowy mountains. It was a bit chilly outside but we wanted to enjoy the view so the welcoming staff settled us under a heater and provided rugs to keep us warm. We started off with the grilled chicken option, sides of fries and onion rings, and refreshing fruit & vodka chillers, finished off with chocolate torte/raspberry coulis/white choc icecream and Frangelico Espressos. The serving sizes are massive and well worth waiting for. One thing that may put you off is a 20% surcharge on a public holiday. Absolutely delicious food and much recommended restaurant. Looking forward to our next visit!
