Base Queenstown

Our room was flooded by previous people so we got upgraded at no extra charge. Staff were very friendly and welcoming on arrival and exit. There's always some people around to have a chit chat to.

Stayed here for a couple of nights in a dorm room. Can't really complain. It's a standard base backpackers, with nothing special going on. The staff were friendly, and the place was clean. Does the job when after a cheap place to sleep.

Depends on your room choice. We stayed at 6-bed ensuite dorm, it was nice and clean overall. But you won't escape the noise from their inhouse bar and it's Queenstown so always bustling.

I had broken my back snowboarding a couple of days before I needed to check in. Ben and Seb on the front desk were absolute legends making sure I got a bottom bunk and helping me out with all my gear. Appreciate so much how Ben helped me out especially. And my stay at the hostel was great.

Stayed here recently in a private room with ensuite! room had everything we needed although the bathroom was pretty small! The room got really hot at night as it only had a small window for ventilation! The staff were friendly and nice but was expensive for what it was.
