At Friends Cuisine of India (Fully Licensed BYO Indian Restaurant and Takeaway) based in Hamilton, our aim to deliver authentic Indian cuisine at the best prices with friendly service. Indian cuisine encompasses a wide variety of regional cuisines native to India. Given the range of diversity in soil type, climate and occupations, these cuisines vary significantly from each other and use locally available spices, herbs, vegetables, and fruits. Indian food is also heavily influenced by religious and cultural choices.

After reading a great review for the Lamb chetinadu I decided to give it a go myself.I am glad to say the review I read was absolutely spot on !!

I've tried quite a few butter chickens in hamilton, and this was the best one. A nice thick flavorful sauce, and a generous helping of chicken. Not too sweet like some other places are.

This is our go to for a curry, I've tried several and they are always really good. We normally take away but have eaten in once and the service was fantastic.

Well worth the wait! New management so they didn't have booze as of yet- the waiter was incredibly lovely even though he was flat out busy doing multiple roles- but the BUTTER CHICKEN AND CHICKEN KORMA was the best we've ever had seriously. And the Naan was fresh. Will be coming back when they get their liquor license.
