Food is always good and they do cheap lunches which are very big for the money. Since its been refurbished it's a really nice atmosphere for a drink.

Went here recently and we ordered drinks and the waitress gave us menus and after deciding what we wanted we made our way to the counter to order - only to be told that 90% of the menu isn’t available because the menu was changing that next day. Why wouldn’t you tell us before we ordered drinks and sat down with our menus?? We then left.

Decided to try it out again on Friday night to see what the new menu was like. They’ve definitely cut a lot off and the choices are very limited now. The steak for my partner was tiny and they forgot the eggs, when asked the waitress she had to check the menu and even then they didn’t come out until over 10 mins later - by which point the steak was cold! (My partner likes eating his steak and eggs together) My chicken breast was very small for the price and the pumpkin mash was horrible.

Can’t say we will be returning based on the past two experiences!

Great sports pub to visit in town, they usually have the rugby on, especially when the All Blacks are play. They had the coverage of the World Cup games too. The drinks are a reasonable priced and I can highly recommend the food especially the ham egg and chips!!

awesome food, a good choice of meals to select from. The meat platter on offer looks a great deal and look forward to returning to try this. Totally recommend for a casual dining experience.
