Monarch Cafe

We went as a group of 5 adults and all loved our meals. The whitebait was a particular hit with the mmber who ordered that. I enjoyed my vegetarian fritter. Great service, attentive but not hovering.

A bit on the expensive side but always a great meal out here. the staff are lovely food is great. Overall a great atmosphere.

Loved the cocktails here, especially as it was jam jar Thursday! However, the service was slow and awkward, we were palmed off around the waitresses until one was told to come out and take our order. Drinks took around 15 mins to arrive but waited for our fries for half an hour so inquired on how long they would be to be told they were cooking, and yet waited a further 15 minutes before they showed up. However they were very yummy and the presentation was great. Optimistic about better service next time!The food was delicious. (Pork belly, squid,
pasta. All three of us loved our food) Would definately recommend to others!

Great place to come and enjoy a meal and drink. They have live bands on and special offers for children to eat free on specific days of the week. Staff are friendly and helpful can create a great atmosphere.
