Calendula Cottage Cafe

Love the food good variety & staff friendly & helpful.

Set in lovely gardens. Some nights they have the pizza oven going and they are amazing.
It's important to check if they are open in the evening, if they don't have enough bookings they won't open, we have been caught out before.

I recently just took my dad out here for Father’s Day breakfast and I must say the food was excellent, the coffee was delicious and the service was brilliant despite the place being absolutely packed for Father’s Day. Best eggs bene I’ve had in a long time!

I have been here a couple of times and I am never disappointed. The menu is has something for everyone. The cabinet food is awesome. I can say there bacon & egg pie is the best I have ever had. Recommend this place 100%.

With gorgeous outdoor seating in semi rural Karaka, Calendular Cottage Cafe was an absolute treat for an alfresco lunch. This very bustling cafe boasts an impressive dessert display cabinet and the menu was enticing very reasonably price.

We enjoyed the beetroot and haloumi and chicken Caesar salads with delicious espresso. Servings were very generous and satisfying but still we had to try dessert and my choice was plum pie with yoghurt cream and our other choice was caramilk cheesecake. Both were amazing, light and heavenly!

Overall I’d highly recommend visiting Calendular for an out of town lumch!
