Mission Estate Winery

Went recently for my wife's birthday. We shared a delicious bread starter with a blue cheese butter. Wife loved her steak (though not quite cooked as she asked) and tiramisu dessert. Unfortunately I was less than impressed with my vegetarian tart. The waiter was nicely attentive but overall I think I was expecting a bit more from the whole experience.

Absolute gem. Oldest one in Nz I believe. Enjoyed a platter at the restaurant, the views from the garden and loved the keepsake glasses. Awesome place for a romantic outing

A few years ago that was my favorite place to go and spoil myself. It was exceptional, the stuff was amazing and went the extra mile to meet your wishes no matter what they were. Lately I found that this has changed and while they are still good it's not as great as it was. But guess I must be careful to be fair... once you got a such a high expectation it is likely you might feel disappointed but very small points. So in summary I still like it and recommend anybody to go there who wants to enjoy a delicious food with some great wine at a beautiful location. but don't miss the view from their garden onto Napier.

Beautiful venue, enjoyed the well maintained grounds and relaxing outdoor decking area (well sheltered from the wind). Impressive view of the vineyard made for a memorable sunset viewing. I attending a beautiful wedding here and was very impressed by the friendly and accommodating staff. Top customer service. Great wine.

Amazing meals and service. This venue was such a perfect location, we sat in the sun - by choice - and found it really easy to have conversations as it was not too noisy yet the restaurant was full.
