Good place to catch up with friends

Very busy on the Friday night that we went, Staff were very polite but service was very slow and our table of 16 people got there meals at all different times/ everyone had finished their meals by the time I got mine. So that was a disappointment. But they did apologize as a staff member was ill.

Very good old fashioned pub with good atmosphere and opens late, the team here are great and look after us locals and helps make everyone feel welcome. That have a very fancy toilet that was the talk of the town when it has installed. Good pool as well.

I came over from Wellington yesterday for a friend's bachelor party and we had some food here. The food was great and the atmosphere was buzzing

A cold wet night so nipped into this place as it was the closest to our accommodation. A fire roaring, and a great bar meal, roast pork, was large and lots of vegetables. Yummy!
