Salt and Wood Collective

What an awesome place! Love the ambience and the front house people are very welcoming. They have very nice beer which they make on the premises and food is awesome too.

I recently went to Salt and Wood for brunch with a group of friends. My waiter was friendly and welcoming to the restaurant, which had nice ambiance and well suited to a group of people.

I had the pancakes and a mochachino. However, while I enjoyed both, I found my meal to be a bit pricey for what it was.

Dined here Mother's Day and the food was really good although a little cold. Really interesting menu though with lots of choice. Service was ok although one of the staff members told my child off which put a dampener on the day, she wasn't really doing anything wrong! Think they should have been a bit more patient, especially on Mother's Day!

Food was ok. Service was great, the portions could have been slightly larger. We all left still a little hungry

I really like BBQ and this place is the best option in the Wellington area. I had the Baked eggs this visit which excellent but took a long time. I haven't cooked baked eggs so I am assuming this dish just takes along time. I also had a side of the smoked bacon which is soo good. highly recommend
