Black Pete's Bar & Grill

I went to this place for dinner. There were 2 items on the menu not available which I actually wanted to order. I ordered a filet mignon and after about 20 minutes they said we have run out of mushrooms what should we do? I then had to downgrade my meal to another meal. We waited 25 minutes then after asking at the counter it finally arrived. The staff were so polite and friendly. The prices are reasonable and the steak tasted great.

Great food and friendly service for a competitive price. There was not many people there which is a shame they’re not doing anything wrong that I could see. I guess it’s because not many people have tried this place or don’t know it’s there? The food was quite a bit cheaper than places in Kumeu or Albany and it was really enjoyable as you can see from the photos. If you live close by and you haven’t eaten here you’re missing out. Worth try? Definitely!

Nice surprise to have found this local bistro. The price is reasonable and the quality of the food is much better than expected!

A busy little pub. The beer and wine were lovely and cold. We didn't eat here but the meals looked nice.
