Uncle Sam's Takeaway

Their store was nice and clean, the owners were very welcoming, and they cooked us a great feed of fish and chips! Not too oily, and the batter was golden and crispy - yum.

Good solid takeaway. Nice hot chips, crunchy not soggy, also do yummy old school frankfurters and good meal packs. Always seems busy which is a good recommendation.

A blast from the past...Wow it’s still going. I remember back to the 70,s. I use to perform at the Albert my band was from Levin and we stopped there for the Frankfurters man they were Devine steamed long bun, frank with tomatoe relish. I always got 2 The owner used to wear those thick black framed glasses and a thin blue chefs jacket or coat.
