Who we are Our vision is to make it easier for people to get speech-language therapy when they need it. Our mission is to provide speech-language therapy that transforms lives. No GP referral needed We are an independent speech-language therapy practice. If you have a communication difficulty, or you know someone who has a communication difficulty, you can get in touch with us directly by phone on 0508 SPEECHIE or by email at office@speechie.co.nz. Special offers for children Initial assessment appointments for children are discounted by 50%, and we offer a FREE comprehensive speech, language and communication screening for all children we see, regardless of the presenting concerns. We offer payment plans and will never charge interest or account fees. We do these things to enable families to get an independent assessment for their child, including a written report with results and a pathway forward to help their child, plus any referral letters needed. We also provide free hearing screenings for children at our Centre in Palmerston North. Where to get help Get help in our Centre in Palmerston North, at one of our mobile clinics in the Horowhenua, Kapiti, Manawatu. Otaki, Rangitikei, Tararua, Wairarapa and Whanganui Districts (home and school visits in and around main centres at no additional cost), or from our real-time online (tele-health) service anywhere in New Zealand.
