Huhu Cafe

Off the beaten track, this place is upstairs in a building just off to one side of the main road to the caves. Parking is pretty diabolical at the venue, but there are places within walking distance you can park, especially at night after the tourists have all moved on. If you have spent the day, or the afternoon, doing the tourist trips, then this is a wonderful place to stop for a meal to let your mood settle down, chat about what you saw and did, and swap notes.

The prices are fair, the food is good, but be sure to leave room for dessert!

Have been here a few times and have had amazing meals, great location in little Waitomo and lovely modern restaurant. Will absolutely be back.

I loved the menu and our food was delicious. We couldn't get a table because the restaurant was fully booked, but they were happy to prepare our dinner for takeaway which we really appreciated. Highly recommend.

Our meal was amazing, it was a busy night but the food came out quickly and did not lack in quality. Lovely view from the deck. Can highly recommend the Chocolate Souffle. We will be back.
