The Marquee Cafe

Ive always had a pkeasant experience at this location. Its a quieter option and they have lovely china tea cups and saucers!:) at least they did!?

My sister and I were in Orewa for the day attending an art exhibition and happened across The Marquee Cafe situated next to Countdown and decided to try it out.

The cafe interior was very stylish, open, light and breezy with comfortable cushioned bench seating around the perimeter of the cafe and staff were very friendly.

For my lunch, I was highly impressed with my Marquee Prawns, a creamy with extra spiced curry with bread. The sauce was aromatic and so flavoursome and the extra chilli gave it that perfect bite. I also enjoyed a Full of Cran smoothie which was the perfect beverage combining beetroot, cranberry, apple and carrot. Very refreshing and scintillating on the taste buds.

My sister thoroughly enjoyed her garlic honey soy chicken salad with Zingi Ginger smoothie. It was a perfect lunch befitting of gorgeous weather and outing. Highly recommended!

Great view and great creamy coffee here. Awesome quiche also, full of flavour.

Price is comparable to other cafe's in the area. Setting is nice and cafe is clean.
