Lovely restaurant with inside and outside dinning. Right across the road from Orewa beach with a great menu and lovely atmosphere. Food and service excellent, Mediterranean style

great atmosphere service and tagines which are on specials on Mondays . we enjoyed the tomato garlic bread

First let me say the food here was good. The problems lie elsewhere...we went here on Good Friday and the restaurant wasn't overly busy - there was no record of our reservation so the low trade was fortunate. The restaurant was quite cold and the service was below par (the waitress explained she was new so you can forgive that but people didn't seem to listen and brought incorrect items to the table on multiple occasions). Two of our party had the same main course and one had vegetables which the other didn't! Bizarre. Actual quality and taste of the food was good but other things let it down. Price seemed a little steep given this. If the service were better this would be a great place to dine.
