The sheep are brought down from the local mountains for shearing. It is live and unstaged, there's no telling what the sheep will do - a fun aspect of farm life to watch and enjoy. ####The Cafe:#### The Wrinkly Rams Cafeteria comes with a stunning view of the Southern Alps and the tranquility of the Mackenzie basin. Great environment, delicious food and cafe. A great place for family and friends. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Good place to stop by for a road trip.

We stopped off for brunch on our way south, and ordered coffees (that arrived in what seemed like just a minute), and bacon, liver and onions.
The meal was better than my mother used to make and if you are a lover of this now old fashioned meal, make Wrinkly Rams a destination - you won’t be disappointed!

Had lunch today for the first and was not disappointed. My partner had the all day breakfast. Wow. Huge and yummy. I had the chicken and mushroom pasta. The sauce was to die for. And the berry and mango smoothies hit the spot..
