The Suter Cafe

They were very busy so the service took a long time. However once recieved the food was lovely and the staff were accommodating.

Love the fit out of the suter cafe, stunning design and ideal location. Best part of my visit was sitting outside sipping coffee amongst the crisp fresh gardens. Good drinks and lots of yummy food including 'the suter bowl) - 2 salads and a protein. Only issue I had was an 'off' feeling with the service. When ordering our stuff the lady at counter kept referring to my girlfriend and I as 'madam' in a sarcastic insincere tone of voice. As ladies in our twenties I found this quite condescending and a bit of a put off. I mean my mum called me madam as a 5 year old when I was being rude or a bit bossy which we definitely were not. If service was elevated and less over the top the suter would be getting full marks.

We had a wonderful time when we came here while on vacation for the long weekend. Cute little place. Great food. Good prices. Great service. Enjoyable experience!

One of my favourite cafes in the city for brunch. Awesome two storey decor in an ex power station, great seasonal menu for brunch and awesome coffee. It gets very busy during peak hours and on the weekends though so be prepared to wait for a spot! Ricotta hot cakes are my favourite but they too huge for one person! No high chairs for toddlers thorough.

It was busy but food was served quite quickly and very well presented and tasty. We even had desert.
