      The Stoke Veterinary Hospital has been around for 30 years plus, in our purpose built facility on Songer Street. We are proud to support the local and wider community with all their families companion animal needs. We have a strong emphasis on outstanding best in practice techniques which offer all our patients the most current and up to date clinical standards, with being as pain free as possible is one of our strongest practicing aims. Preventative medicine is one of our strengths. Our team are highly skilled and many came especially to live in this fantastic area of NZ to access all that the great outdoors offer and Nelson¿s relaxed lifestyle and climate. A large majority of our team have been growing with our families for over 10 years+, this brings a massive wealth of knowledge and the team really enjoy taking care of your special family members throughout their lifetime. We provide vet care to Stoke, Tahunanui, Nelson, Richmond, Atawhai & Greater Nelson and Tasman Area.

      My dog just LOVES this vet and petshop. Every time we go past she wants to go inside. They have some great dried treats and a good range of pet foods. there are always some cool and interesting animals for sale and the veterinary service is very efficient and caring. I love visiting during December as they always have something cool happening that involves specials and freebees.

      Have shopped at the pet shop lots and used the vet. I was very impressed when they sent me a nice wee card after I informed them my cat had passed away. Such a sweet gesture at a sad time.

      Love this pet store, great selection of international pets eg lizards. Not a lot of fish, but really cool birds great place to take the children. Prices seem a bit on the high side but quality of items, food and animals is always good.

      Never been to the vets here so this is solely a review on the pet store side of things. They have a wide range of fish an birds but are quite limited in other items they stock. Staff are friendly
