cozy little airport, everything what needs to be is there, queues at the car rental places but that's of course the business problem, not the airport's

A good regional airport. Cheap all day parking ($10). Easy to get in and out of, except apparently there is no public transport? There are taxis and shuttle buses. It is currently being massively upgraded so it will be interesting to see if it is still affordable for local Nelson people.

The airport is still under construction, however is nicely laid out given it’s only halfway complete. I can see that in busier times, there’d be a lack of seating areas, as per the old terminal, however I imagine this would be fixed with the construction completion. The parking situation is an improvement, however it doesn’t seem a great idea having three exit lanes feeding into one without any road markings.

Great airport to fly out from. There's only one cafe, but there's a couple shops. This airport is always really busy! Staff are really helpful and there's a few viewing platforms to watch planes depart and land.

This airport is great now that it has had its upgrade, ready to take on massive amounts of travellers once COVID is over!
