This place was really interesting to look around and is filled with history. This is an olden days village that has been erected so the visitors can take a step through time into the pioneer error. They have a small train ride that kids can take which my daughter enjoyed. I enjoyed a really nice coffee and you can have lunch at the local Cafe if you want to. This is an affordable fun family outing.

I love this place so much! We even got married by the lake here and I have organised many Christmas Parties for our work staff. The onsite brewery is fantastic and the office ladies are always great to deal with. There is so much to do and see and entry is free for locals, so there is no excuse to visit! Especially when they have a special event on!

Great place for a day visit free if you are a rate payer as well but even if your not its still cheap. Cool Historic buildings and artefacts. So much to see also has great cafes located inside founders park as well. Heaps of free parking as well

Really cool place to explore, awesome that entry is free for locals. The cafe has a great range of craft beers and a playground for the kids to play, they also do massive bowls of hot chips. So many different old fashioned shops and an old aeroplane which you can look around. The train is also a lot of fun. They also do lots of events here. Marchfest is a lot of fun!!!

A unique place to visit and explore. Family friendly or nice to visit on your own. A lot of local history, especially in the buildings themselves which are well preserved in their original style. Some really great food options in the little cafes, train ride options, a plane to explore, historical information on the buildings walls. Old shops and cottages. A great place to spend an afternoon and have a picnic. Also a good place to donate books in bulk as every year they have their week long book sale which is a massive hit. Are also host to many fairs and other events, especially in the holidays. An okay sized carpark but plenty of road parking too.
