Great vibes and music. The roasts was cooked beautifully. We enjoyed very much.

Exceptional professional service and very nicely prepared dishes. This is one of the best restaurants in Nelson for sure.

Fords is amazing. My family and I go there all the time. The staff are extremely lovely and the chefs incredible. There is always something yummy on the menu and they make sure there are vegan and gluten free option as well.

I started with the pork belly with roast apricot, onion soubise, bacon, thyme and hazelnut brown butter and I was very happy with my choice. For my main I had the Angus beef fillet with mushroom crumble, bacon hash and roast carrots. It was lovely but I felt the price was high given the size of the fillet. For pudding i had Mascarpone cheesecake with strawberry, meringue and poached rhubarb. It was also lovely but the tiniest serve of cheesecake I'd ever had. The service was very friendly and polite. One odd note was cutlery being kept in a set of drawers next to us - lots of traffic and banging of drawers.

Wow what an amazing cafe. The food was excellent and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Would recommend this cafe to anyone wanting to eat fresh locally grown food.
