      Super cute cafe close to cable bay. Have been here numerous times after finishing the glen to cable bay walk. Love the fish and chips from here!

      We stayed here for about 4 nights last March/April and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. There are plenty of spots for camping - even if you have a large family tent. It was also very 'back to nature' with the sheep casually roaming the hills and the lack of traffic noise. There are plenty of things to do/see in Cable Bay - including walks, kayaking, swimming and more! The communal kitchen facilities were also top notch and we didn't have any issues with other campers eating our food in the fridge. There is a huge trampoline for kids. The only issue is: the roads can be a little challenging to those who aren't local and there is no cell service and wi-fi only around the kitchen/office area. So be prepared to go completely off the grid.
