Whitebait Inn Mokau

Stopped for a whitebait sandwich and a cup of tea: both were spot on, the sandwich with the traditional white bread and a large juicy fritter with lemon on the side, the tea hot and well flavoured. A great lunch.

Great stop point for any person passing through mokau the food is good service is awesome and they also stock a lot of fishing gear highly recommended

Nice range of whitebait products. Great place to stop while on the way to Taranaki. Staff are friendly, did well on a busy Sunday to keep up with orders, but still had quite a long wait.

Awesome Fish & Chips takeout. Service was fast & friendly. Very busy as all the locals stop to grab dinner on the way to their Bach.

Whitebait inn gets quite busy sometimes, but it is still worth it. My mum ALWAYS gets a whitebait fritter from here, and whatever I get, it's always good. A little expensive, but good nonetheless
