Heaps of drivers, always available

Some of the drivers in this service are incredibly friendly, but I have some bad experiences more recently. Today we called for a taxi and stated that we needed the taxi ASAP which they said was fine. I said I would prepay when the cab arrived (couldn't take AMEX on the phone), also fine. After quite a while, one of your company cabs finally stopped and my friend got in, but when the driver found out that we had ordered a cab already, he wouldn't let us go, saying that he didn't want to take the another guys job (same company). I explained to him that my friend would miss his bus, the one we ordered is late, and it would be best if they prioritised my friend getting to his bus in time. The driver refused to take my friend, and called the cab company which took another couple of minutes, then said the other guy was close and we should wait. My friend was worried he would miss his bus. We waited more minutes. When the other cab finally arrived, I went to pay and the new driver said he had no idea about prepay, or what to charge to get to the train station. He didn't offer any help, and I finally had him run through $15 and said my friend could pay the rest. Overall, really bad company communication and stressful for us. Your drivers priority should have been to get your customers on time, and if prepay isn't understood by the drivers it shouldn't be offered. In another recent experience, a driver wouldn't let me put my bags, which were valuable, on his backseat (said it would ruin the seat but there were no sharp edges, just bags) and finally told us to get our stuff out and left us. I've had a few nice ones in this company, but because of the inconsistency, I will be switching to a new company henceforth.

Combined continue to be the best and most reliable service in Wellington. Awesome job guys.

It is a good and reliable taxis. Mostly the drivers are good and they know where to go
