Waterside Restaurant & Bar

This restaurant is exceptional, staff are very helpful and responsive. Food was of a very high standard and presented very well. Location was perfect with good lake views. Well priced for the quality of food and excellent service. Can get cool outside after sunset.

All our meals were quite good except the Fish and Chips. Batter was very heavy for a beer batter. Meals did take a long time to come out and they were not that busy.
Staff were friendly but bar staff need more training on how cold a beer should be and how to make a good cocktail. They did try to right the situation but still didn't get it right.

A great place to have a meal. I had pork belly and it was delicious. Great presentation and good service.

Beautiful view and location overlooking Lake Taupo. Relaxed and comfy feel with open air dining on the deck, great on a nice day in Taupo. Prices seem fair for such amazing items including oysters and salmon. They have a really neat meal with blue cheese called Blue Cheesecake,
which is like a blue cheese cheesecake. I have never seen one anywhere else and it is amazing! (If you like blue cheese).
