Gracious staff, all 4 dishes cooked to perfection, beautiful setting amongst the birds, bees and blossom, and good coffee to boot.

This cafe has a nice looking establishment and the coffee is good but its unfortunately overpriced just like the food.
Being in Linwood I was expecting it to be a little bit more easy on the wallet but it's the opposite.
They're coffee loyalty cards aren't too customer friendly either, buy 10 get 1 free!! That's a joke to be honest, not only that but I couldn't use my free coffee when I purchased the 10th! I was rudely told I couldn't claim it after buying 10 coffees previously.
The staff would benefit from learning more customer focused and communication skills.

A friend suggested we meet here for breakfast and as I was a visitor to Christchurch I had no idea what to expect. The cafe is in a suburban location which means there aren't any parking issues, plus they have their own dedicated car park on site. The cafe has quite a rustic vibe and a combination of indoor and outdoor seating. Their menu had plenty of choice and I really enjoyed my meal. The coffee is great too. And, judging by how busy it was, it's a gem that's far from hidden to the locals. Definitely worth a visit if you're in town and want to go somewhere just outside of the CBD.
