The Blacksmith

This is one of the best places I have eaten at. The food is great but the service is exceptional! I brought an elderly friend here for lunch pre-Christmas. They were really busy but treated her like a princess. She was on a rare trip out from the rest home and asked for them to prepare two meals: one for then and one to take home for later. The serving lady was so helpful in doing this and brought out our meals and the 'doggy bag' for later with a big smile. My older lady friend gave the server a $20 which was absolutely deserved - a great day out, thanks guys!

Great food and the quiz nights are a hit

Clean, quick service, welcoming and a menu with plenty of familiar favorites. This restaurant has warm surroundings, spacious and great for events, family gatherings. We have visited and left very pleased as a family and evening date nights. Great for a a bite to eat and to drink while watching rugby/ UFC. Enjoyable experience.

Fantastic friendly service and a lively atmosphere. I enjoyed the blue vein cheese and caramelised onion pizza bread from the downstairs menu. I'd be interested to try the fine dining menu menu upstairs for dinner. Great for casual catch ups in groups, with the family or to watch sports.

They have a bar upstairs n downstair.My meal was a single shank with mash n veges it was yummy.I hesitated to order coz I looked at other people's reviews on the food so I avoided.But I enjoyed my meal.Service was good n plenty of parking coz it's in the Takanini Village Centre.
