The Bay Bar & Brasserie

really cosy and inviting bar. Great bar snacks that were enjoyed by all in the group. I really enjoyed the chips and the selection of beer.

We had pizzas there and they were tasty. Not really a stand out place for me but the location gives it a point of difference and the atmosphere is nice with friendly staff.

Had dinner here while on holiday. Decor inside a bit dated, but attentive staff and good range of food and drinks

upmarket place for a quiet lunch, not quite sure what modern British is, but I would say modern, tasty upmarket pub food. Quality over quantity (but you do get enough to eat).
Best of all, staff were very helpful and nice about the fact I knew little about wine and offered suggestions in line with my tastes.
I would say its, modern (as opposed to traditional/classical) combinations of flavours and foods.

Hosted my aunts birthday here. Great venue, good drinks, good time overall.
