I booked a taxi from Tauranga Mount Taxis 24 hrs in advance, for half past midnight on New Years Eve. They hadn't arrived at 12.45, so we called them and they said they were on the way, we called them again at 1.10 and again they said they were on there way. At 1.40 they still hadn't turned up, and we had to contact a friend, get them out of bed, and they came and picked us us and took us home. DO NOT use this company, they will only let you down !!!

Best bike shop in the area... excellent customer service... locally owned and staff will happily order you parts in if they don't stock them

Great bike shop in the Mount, they have a good range of bikes, and the sales staff are more than happy to help. Awesome cheap deals on bike servicing.

This was our first and last experience using Tauranga Mount Taxis. I ordered a taxi well in advance(11hrs) to get home at New Years, not a problem, time and location confirmed, ride home sorted.
The time came, we waited, it didn't show, we called them twice and they said we are a "priority" and that someone will be out ASAP, so we waited some more, it still didn't show. 7 hrs after booking time no show and no txt or call to say nobody is coming. Now able to drive home after a uncomfortable sleep on the couch.
To be trusted, if they take a booking they should honour it, otherwise what's the point of booking! At the very least, if they are having trouble getting a driver out, it is so crucial to a sound taxi company to communicate it. Then people have the opportunity to make other arrangements, certainly don't tell us we are a "priority", when we are obviously not!
The only remotely good thing is they made an effort to clarify the booking when I made it, to make sure they had the time and location for pickup correct, which instilled me with a little confidence, (which is now long gone).

Used this service on a recent trip. Taxi arrived promptly and the driver was very knowledgeable of the area and happily chatted away to us on our journey. Would recommend this service.
