Taupo Events Centre Sports Stadium is Taupo's largest indoor venue. It is located only five minutes from Taupo's centre and has significant parking. A multi-purpose facility with a number of marked playing courts, well-equipped function room and a club room. This venue is ideal for private functions, sporting competitions, concerts, trade shows, expos and banquets. ## Stadium + 3 full sized basketball courts, or one large centre court + 3 netball courts, or one large centre court + 2 indoor soccer areas + 4 courts of volleyball + 10 badminton courts ## Function Room *A large versatile Function Room, with small adjoining kitchen, suitable for meetings, dinner or cocktail functions.* + Semi-circular room - 12m x 9m + Large expanse of floor to ceiling windows + Access to a large outdoor deck with seating + Kitchenette + Close proximity to the stadium (ideal as coaches/referees breakout room). ## Club Room Adjacent to the stadium the Club Room is a versatile venue suitable for a variety of activities such as a headquarters for sports tournaments, a dressing room for bands or shows, as a registration area for expo's and shows, AGM's, or as a contained area for birthday parties.

I have organised a few basketball events at the Events Center. Great location and lots of parking and their hire rates are really affordable. Very clean and the staff are great to work with to ensure your event runs to plan.

Awesome centre, plenty of room, heaps of seating and a variety of sports/events can can be held here with ease.

Popped into the rock climbing section to have a quick look while on my travels. They look amazing and I am really looking forward to coming back. The climbing section is small, but the climbs look challenging and really enjoyable. The staff member who I spoke with was friendly and helpful. Will be coming here every time I'm in Taupo.

Awesome venue to play sports and stay fit. Great staff and excellent equipment. Good parking.
