Hands down, Scorpio Books has to be the best independent bookseller in the country. They have the most beautiful, thoughtful selection you could ever hope to peruse, showcasing the fantastic world of large photo and coffee table books, kiwi writers and subject matters, all while minimizing the boring same-old that you find everywhere else. Being from overseas, I almost always buy my family's Christmas presents from Scorpio so they can enjoy something that you can't just order on Amazon.com. Lovely and lively place. Thanks for so many happy purchases!

Great bookstore! There are books you can find here that you wouldn't elsewhere in bigger bookstores, so it is quite a unique shop. Prices are all very reasonable, no more pricey than other places.
