Reading Cinemas Rotorua

Love coming here, nice and roomy. Clean, smells of gorgeous popcorn when you walk in. Bathrooms need desperate renovations. Very cold in winter!

They have recently upgraded the seating in the theatres and lowered the ticket price which is really handy. Service is good, sometimes you wait a little while at the ticket desk as staff are around the corner talking. Food is pricey but that is pretty common across most movie theatres these days

Not as big as the Reading cinemas in Auckland or Wellington but several screens are usually a variety of films to see. Expensive unless you go on Tuesdays when the price is reduced. Worth getting a Reading Cinema card (free) as you can accumulate points for free drinks/films/popcorn/ice-cream and there is always a film at a special price each week ($10 I think). Free parking after 5pm if you can find somewhere to park.
