What a great beer they serve! I had stout called ‘Darkside...’ something :p and I should recommend their pork skin cracklings with apple puree sauce. Eye widening taste!

This place has a great selection of beers, friendly and helpful staff and excellent food. We were served by a delightful young lass from the States. I'll be back.

Great place for a beer, best selection in Christchurch. The food is also really good, I love the chips with gravy.

Well first and foremost the pub is dog friendly which is a bonus for friends from the north!
The staff and service were excellent, especially as we arrived 20 minutes before the end of the lunch period. The food was excellent and you did not have to fight to get a table or a beer, the prices were pretty good too, so all in all GV/GS/GF and dog friendly.

Amazing food and a great atmosphere, love how the staff help you decide on an order. Had an amazing burger here they also had a wide variety of beers to choose from.
