Oppies Fish and Chips is a recognised fish and chip shop. And not without foundation. Their food is amazing, they actually sell a lot more than just fish and chips, they have a wide range of different dishes from Chinese to roast that you can choose from. Definitely recommend coming here.

Overrated and overpriced. Had better ones in Auckland

We ordered the roast duck, roast pork belly, fish and chips. We were given a number and had to wait for our number to be called. Staff was courteous and friendly. The wait was long but well worth it! The roast duck tasted great. The pork belly had crispy crackling. The fish was fresh and the batter was crunchy. We ate at the small seating area where there was a handful of tables and chairs. Probably the best fish and chips in Rotorua!

One of the nicest fish and chip/chinese food shops in Rotorua. They also do online ordering and delivery which is awesome. The food usually takes awhile though so prepare for a long wait if you are hungry.
