Mountain Jade is one of the best jade stores in Rotorua. They have a wide range of jade products from necklaces, earrings, bracelets, beautiful jade carvings and much more. They staff are knowledgeable about what jade is used in most products and who the carver is (unless it's the smaller products that are imported into the store) Definitely recommend coming here if you're wanting to buy jade as a gift for family or friends.

Beautiful store with plenty of greenstone to choose from, the staff are very knowledgable too and will help you find whichever style you are after. Double check for NZ jade labels as some can be imported from China I think. The carvers out in the workshop do incredible work and can make a piece on request, they draw a few designs for you to choose from and give you a quote for whichever size you are wanting. Definitely check out the cabinets for each individual carver as they have their own style and are all beautiful works

One of the big and hard to miss souvenir shops which mainly sell jade. It is on a corner and quite presentable and tidy. It is nicely laid out and the prices are not overly expensive or cheap but probably not the place where locals would go.
