      Domestic and commercial Lighting Design and supply. Here at Lighthouse we offer a free design and consultation service with one of our qualified designers. We are able to do onsite visits with clients. Our designers have wide experience in new home builds, renovations, commercial and exterior lighting design. We have designers that specialize in traditional lighting and in contemporary lighting. Clients are able to view the light fittings in our up to date showroom. We have a custom designed darkroom that we use to demonstrate different lighting concepts and features to aid the decision of what kind of lighting design will best suit their needs. We have access to a huge range of light fittings to suit most budgets and styles, including locally sourced products and imported European leading brands like Grok, Le Creu and LEDS. We make lighting easy!

      I have just been asked to "leave the store please" at this store after experiencing the worst customer service ever !!! On Sept 13th this year I bought 3 LED rangehood lights for $60 having been assuredthat the higher cost was worth it as they last longer.. A week later they were put into the rangehood in Hanmer Springs and a week after that 1 if the flickered and then died, and 2 weeks after that the other one died. Clearly faulty às we had had an electrician check both sockets before we put them in. A previous light had broken off in one so we needed him to remove it. On returning to ChCh this week, I showed proof of purchase and was told I needed to bring the bulbs in and Lighthouse Lighting would give me 2 more for half price ?!!! I explained that I had thrown the bulbs away and was told "if my car breaks down you don't ask the mechanic for a new one". !! Quite a bizzarre comparison I would have thought! When I reminded this man that I had thrown them away and didn't have them, he talked over the top of me and insisted that he needed them in order to replace (not even refund!). Then having talked over me to stop any further explanation from him or me, he said" I don't like your attitude and I'd like you to leave now, go on get out "!!. I am so appalled by his totally unreasonable request (I was not defensive or angry at all, just looking for a solution! Totally out order and dreadful customer service. Don't go there!!!

      Very helpful. Pointed out things we didn't think of with lighting like shadowing etc. this helped us choose the perfect lights for our space and ensured they looked good and were functional.
