Fat Dog Cafe & Bar

I love this café, restaurant. It’s one of those special places to go because it casual and fun with good food. The décor is eclectic and dog poetry painted all around the walls. The furniture is all mismatched and fun and the artwork is interesting too. It really is a visual delight. Best of all; you don’t feel the need to dress up. Shorts and T shirts are perfectly acceptable so it’s a great place to eat when you are on holiday

This place had possibly the tastiest fish burger I've ever eaten. And like the quirky decor too. A mismatch chair haven!

The food at this cafe is the best in Rotorua. There is often very crowded because there's not much to match it in the city, other than Capers, which isn't as good but is on a similar level of quality. The cakes are exceptional and the coffee is the best in Rotorua. Very busy place most of the time. Prices are what you would expect for this type of food but the prices are definitely better than they would be in Auckland for this type of food.

Love the theme of this cafe - food is consistently amazing and so much to choose from! I had the lil no peep burger (I think that's it's name) which was great so filling they put half of it in a takeaway container for me. Atmosphere great staff friendly and attentive. Street parking was easy to find.

Good latte and huge scone. Always busy which is a good sign.
