Dux Central

One of my favourite places to eat in Christchurch. Always bring new people to try this place and always hear good reviews from them with their meals. I personally love the nachoes it has lost of flavours! Great selection on the menu for vegans and vegetarians.

The kitchen didn’t fail to deliver again. I enjoyed the lamb salad and my dining partner raves about the seafood chowder. Dux in the city or Dux Dine.. just go !

Good selection of craft beer. Big outdoor area and great space. It has been very creative with its use of older architecture and they have done a really good job of designing a comfortable space.

Such a cool bar with something to offer everyone. They have an elegant wine bar on one side with a decent range of wines, and in winter time they make amazing mulled wine cocktails. There's also a craft beer bar that opens up to the leafy courtyard where bands are sometimes playing on sunny days. The upstairs part of the bar is a cocktail lounge with open deck, and often DJ's will jamming tunes on Friday/Saturday nights
