Countdown Supermarkets

5 stars because I love this Countdown! It's open til midnight and opens as early as 6am, which makes it one of the best supermarkets in the Riccarton area to pick up something before or after normal work hours - soooo convenient. It's really large as well, a great range of products. The bakery here is one of my favourites. I just wish the deli was open a little later as often I do a lot of late-night shopping. Great place to just run in and grab something if you're in a hurry as there's plenty of self-checkouts. Usually bright and tidy, a large range of alcohol options too which has been awesome in many situations when I've needed to get something before going on a weekend holiday.

I don't often come to this supermarket since I don't live near here or any other Countdown supermarkets. But now they have a online supermarket, you could just order and either pick up or deliver it to your house. For me I just think its awesome, very handy and when the food comes to your hand its still nice and fresh:)

Wow. Haven't been to this store for years because it was alway so small and run down. What a pleasant surprise I had today. It's now huge but still has lots of car parks. Light and airy and despite being busy wasn't crowded. Was over charged on my potatoes but they promptly refunded the overcharge

Great that this store is open until midnight. Lots of parking outside and plenty to choose from inside. Staff member at the check out was super friendly. The store always seems to get a little messy towards the end of the night as the begin to restock the shelves, but other than that it’s a great, convenient store to go to
