I took my car to Marshall's for a park light that was not working correctly after failing a warrent. The light was working only when the brakes were applied but not consistantly as the other side was. After a mate having a quick look we were told that the fitting that had been put in after a previous accident was not the correct one and this needed to be changed to a fitting that could run both the brake light and make the light go consistantly. I told the man this and he said when I picked my car up that is exactly what he had done and replaced the fitting. They charged me $47 dollars just to get home and find all they had done was cut a wire to the other side to even things up. I didnt check as I had my newborn with me who was due for a bottle so I just drove it home. Cheeky to take advantage when I dont know much about cars. You'll be hearing from my husband about this.
