Great location and relaxed atmosphere... as well as good coffee! We ordered food from the pizza/dumplings place next door and it was great. Even the gluten free pizza base was delicious. Highly recommend the shar Sui chicken dumplings.

An on-trend cafe and restaurant in a great, sunny location. A slightly pricier breakfast menu and wine list. Good coffee and my favourite desserts in Hawkes Bay.

On arrival the staff were friendly. After we had looked at the menu our group collectively agreed that there wasnt anything that we liked the look of not to mention some of the prices. We decided to just order a round of drinks and a bowl of fries to share since the staff were very nice to begin with.Once we had placed our order the staff changed and became rather rude as if they no longer cared to wait on us since we were not going to be spending alot of money and took ages to bring us our drinks and fries which we could see sitting in the window. Once we finished we got up to pay and stood there while the staff stared at us. We had to tell them what we ordered (its not like they were busy) so we could pay and as we said thanks they just stood there and said nothing to us. We will definitely never set foot in that place again after the rudeness we experienced.

We popped in for a coffee and ended up having scones as well because they looked amazing and they tasted even better. Great service and you can sit outside even if its raining or windy because they can cover the outdoor area.
