Angkor Wat Kiwi Bakery & Cafe

Busy but still relaxing, coffee was good and had curly fries which were nice and crispy. Plenty of outside shade tables, nice relaxing atmosphere.

We had breakfast there twice and lunch once and were never disappointed. The coffee is also very good

We are more familiar with our local Angkor Wat in Havelock North and previously Hastings, so on first approach we were not quite sure about this one. We already knew, pretty much, what to expect from the menu, the atmosphere and staff on the other hand were the mystery element. Having said that, they did not disappoint. Apparently Angkor Wat strive for excellence at all locations. Food, general atmosphere and staff were all lovely. Highly recommend. Might add it was High noon, right in the middle of a busy lunch when we were served - still served with a warm relaxed (in spite of chaos around) smile and food was delivered within a reasonable amount of time. Very pleased.

Lovely bakery in a great location. The selection of food is great and very diverse, the hot chocolate is good and the fluffies are good too. The staff are really lovely, my toddler had a smiley face biscuit but dropped one of the m&ms on the floor. He was utterly distraught by this turn of events, but the lovely girl behind the counter was happy to get him another m&m :)

Had a meatball and chicken sandwich the food was over-par. However the atmosphere was very homely
