Beechwoods Cafe

Surprised no one has reviewed this little gem yet! A fantastic roadtrip stop along SH6. Tired and need a coffee? They'll sort you! Need a bite? Sit down by the fire for a proper feed or grab a cozy pie from the cabinet! They also do discounted pies later in the afternoon and the Vegan Kumara and Cashew one is exquisite (you wouldn't know it's Vegan!).

A friendly cafe, staff are polite and helpful. Excellent coffee and a great range of meals. I recommend this cafe.

We had tried two mechanics in town and waited an hour for help but neither shop were interested in helping, despite offering to pay or purchase a new tyre. We will definitely be stopping every time we pass through and look forward to trying some meals of the menu which looked delicious.

Great seating and lots of room. Prices are quite high compared with the rest of the town. The wait for food and / or coffee can be long.

Gorgeous and large cafe with a spacious and clean toilet facility and plenty of parking for all the road trippers. Can get very busy at peak hours. Lots and lots of cabinet food and they are happy to make up food off the menu, great coffee, large selection of fridge drinks and snacks. Food is always delicious and there is plenty of room and tables for seating both inside and outside.
