Experienced Counsellor and Supervisor with full membership of NZ Association of Counsellors. Services mainly provided online via video conferencing link. Face to face in the Motueka and Mapua area by arrangement. Areas of special interest include: Anxiety, Conflict resolution, Depression, Family Issues, Grief & loss, Life transitions, Mindfulness, Parenting Adolescents, Stress, Youth issues. Counselling Services: I work with compassion and humour, using encouragement and empowerment. You are the expert on their own life, my role is to work alongside you to identify issues causing distress, to highlight your strengths and identify any areas that may need change. I use a variety of approaches to build resiliency, to increase a sense of well-being and to learn new skills to overcome adversity. Approaches include Client Centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Holistic Models of Wellbeing, Neuro-science, Solution Focused. Professional Supervision: Respectfully explore the safety and effectiveness of your practice, focusing on professional and personal growth, as well as having your health and wellbeing monitored to guard against professional overload or burnout. I mostly work with counsellors and people within the education profession, but welcome enquiries from other workplaces. Fees: From $60 to $120 depending on other funding sources (eg WINZ), individual or workplace.
