I fabulous place to relax in the setting sun with a drink and nibbles. The staff are pleasant. The setting is so English but it is in Nelson. The meals are good as well. Highly recommend stopping here.Fantastic gastro pub and restaurant

A great place for a good hearty meal with that "home" vibe. I like coming here in winter when the fire is roaring. The tree growing throughout the middle of the restaurant is a nice touch. We've also held events here that have been highly successful. Not a huge range of food options though.

A beautiful location to hang out in summer or winter, inside or out and the best wedges in town, a great snack whether it's a treat with the kids, catch up with friends, school mums having a 'camp/disco/fundraiser meeting :) or a romantic dinner.

Great location and pub itself has great atmosphere inside. Meals are nice..........some drinks a bit expensive, and the service is ok...just. Would maybe go back..

Great location. Was able to have the dogs there for an outside gathering. Food was great. Platters had a variety of food. Definitely recommend. Views by the water were stunning too.
